1.20.5, the first release of Armored Paws, is a minor update of Java Edition released on April 23, 2024, which adds the armadillo, wolf armor, and new variants of the wolf.

Mobs

Armadillo

• Passive mob spawning in savanna.
• Randomly drops its scute.
• Can be bred using a spider eye.

Wolf

• New variants are added, including rusty, spotted, black, striped, snowy, ashen, woods, and chestnut.
  • The wolf with classic look is now referred as pale wolf.^[1]

    • Repair a damaged Wolf Armor using Armadillo Scutes
  • "The Whole Pack"
    • Tame one of each Wolf variant
